Peer Assisted Learning in Medicine is built as an installable web app.
Site relationship: PALM is independently hosted and operated by Hendrick Hamilton. It is not a school network sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and Supabase provides PALM account authentication. Eligibility is limited to approved school email domains. Full details.
Students and tutors can use Peer Assisted Learning in Medicine from a normal browser. Where supported, it can also be added to the phone home screen so it opens like an app.
iPhone or iPad
- Open the Peer Assisted Learning in Medicine link in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The app icon will appear on the home screen.
Android
- Open the Peer Assisted Learning in Medicine link in Chrome.
- Tap the browser menu.
- Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm the install.
Live Access
The live pilot uses approved school-email addresses, separate PALM account passwords, role approval, and durable database storage. PALM never asks for a school network password, and participants must not reuse one here.
