Who Operates This Site

Peer Assisted Learning in Medicine (PALM) is an independently hosted peer-tutoring service operated by Hendrick Hamilton. Current eligibility includes participating learners with an approved SIU School of Medicine email domain. This website is not SIU's network sign-in page and does not claim to be an official SIU authentication service.

How sign-in works

PALM uses an approved school email address and a separate PALM-specific password for its own account. Supabase securely processes the PALM credential and verifies the email address. PALM never asks for your school network password, and you must not reuse that password here. If any page claiming to be PALM asks for a school network password, close it and contact the operator.

Service providers

• Vercel hosts and delivers the website.
• Supabase provides PALM account authentication and the pilot database.
• SIU School of Medicine is not a hosting or authentication provider for this site. An approved institutional email domain is used only to restrict participant eligibility.

Questions, security reports, or concerns about an unexpected sign-in email should be sent to Hendrick Hamilton at hhamilton48@siumed.edu.

Safety checks

• Only use the PALM link shared through the pilot's established communication channel.
• Confirm the browser shows HTTPS before entering an email address.
• Never enter patient information or your school network password.
